About Us

Our mission drives us.

We provide housing and support for women who are pregnant and homeless. We walk alongside pregnant women experiencing homelessness and restore them to the life God created them to live. We provide safe housing, holistic support, and a committed community in the Dallas-Fort Worth area to pregnant and parenting women with no place to turn.

Need Housing? Moms
In My Shoes | Blog

We're not a program. We're a way of life.

At In My Shoes, we don't believe in surface-level solutions. We go deep. Every woman is known, seen, and loved. We use Motivational Interviewing and Love and Logic principles to walk with each mom. Though we're nondenominational, Catholic social teaching inspires our model: the dignity of every person, the call to community, and solidarity with the poor.

We strive at all times to live up to our core values:

DIGNITY

We acknowledge the dignity of every human being

HUMILITY

We selflessly serve others

GRIT

We are willing to have the tough conversation and roll up our sleeves to do the menial or gritty jobs
