Serving at In My Shoes changes lives. Including your own. On the Mission Staff, you'll share a year of your life-offering not only help, but your 24/7 presence, your witness, and your heart. This isn't a job. It's a calling.
Embrace the adventure.
As a live-in staff member, you'll walk daily with pregnant and parenting women facing homelessness in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. You'll share meals, carry burdens, celebrate small victories, and reflect the love of Christ in every interaction.
Daily responsibilities include:
- Providing emotional, spiritual, and logistical support
- Connecting moms to outside resources
- Supporting residents through prayer and mentorship
- Enforcing house expectations with compassion
- Living and participating in the rhythms of community life
What You Receive:
- Room and board in a faith-centered maternity home
- Monthly living stipend
- Health insurance stipend
- Weekly personal time: one full day and two nights off
- Ongoing mentorship and leadership development

What We Require:
- Women 18 and older
- Desire to serve the most vulnerable in a direct and relational way
